ABOUT THE GAME
Wartales is an open world RPG in which you lead a group of mercenaries in their search for wealth across a massive medieval universe. Explore the world, recruit companions, collect bounties and unravel the secrets of the tombs of the ancients!
It has been a hundred years since the world saw the fall of the once great Edoran Empire at the hands of an unprecedented plague that swept the nation. In the turmoil and uncertainty that has followed, mercenary work, banditry and thievery across the land is abundant, as honor has long since become an almost entirely forgotten virtue.
HOW IT PLAYS
A factual overview assembled from the game's published IGDB metadata. It describes the game itself, not a review score or a promise about a specific store offer.
Wartales is classified as role-playing (rpg), strategy, turn-based strategy (tbs), tactical and adventure. IGDB lists single player, multiplayer and co-operative as its supported play modes.
The game is presented from bird view / isometric. Its recorded themes include survival, sandbox and open world.
IGDB's time-to-beat data estimates about 80 hr for the main path. Completion time varies with difficulty, exploration and optional content.
BUYING WARTALES
There are currently 8 linked Wartales products. These are grouped under one permanent game page so editions, platforms and activation methods can be compared without treating each supplier offer as a different game.
Wartales offers on this page are linked to PC and Xbox. Products for different systems are not interchangeable.
Current offers use Steam, Xbox Live and GOG. Use the same store or launcher as the account where you plan to play.
The live selection includes full game and account delivery. A DLC or subscription is not the same purchase as the full game.
Current offer labels include REGION FREE, EUROPE, OTHER, Canada and Australia. Select your real country and verify the exact restriction before payment.
Supplier data currently lists English, French, German, Spanish and Polish across the available offers. Open the exact offer because language support can differ by edition or platform.
